How does Y 5 Land Services price a job?
Every job gets one fixed price before we start a machine. I walk the property with you, look at the vegetation, terrain, and access, and give you a number — not a range, not an hourly rate that keeps running. If the brush turns out thicker than expected, that is on us, not you.
What is forestry mulching?
Forestry mulching uses a compact track loader with a heavy-duty mulching head to grind standing trees, cedar, mesquite, and brush into wood chips right where they stand. The chips stay on the ground as mulch, so there are no brush piles to haul away or wait to burn. Because the vegetation is processed at the surface rather than pulled out by the roots, forestry mulching can also minimize ground disturbance compared with more invasive clearing methods. Does mulching remove stumps?
Brush and small trees are cut near ground level; stump height can vary, and root balls remain in the soil. If your project requires stump or root-ball removal for construction, a foundation, or a septic area, we’ll identify that during the walkthrough so you know what additional site-prep work may be needed.

Do you take on large ranch projects?
Larger tracts are welcome, and I’ll be straightforward on the walkthrough about what we can take on and how long it would take. Every project, large or small, is quoted at a fixed price for the agreed scope after I’ve walked it.
